August ‘Agge’ Rosenmeier has come a long way in 10 years.
His first FIFA competition was a memorable one. After constantly beating his brother and friends, Agge was encouraged to participate in a championship comp in Copenhagen.
Agge may have been undefeated around his inner circle, but here he was, face-to-face with some of the greatest FIFA video game players in the world and it was intimidating.
To make things even more interesting for Agge – as if an 11-year-old in a major tournament wasn’t intriguing enough – the competition was being played on a PC.
Agge played FIFA on a console.
He asked for a controller and was handed one that wasn’t properly calibrated so when Agge tried to move his players, they weren’t going in the intended direction.
Sounds maddening, right?
Agge won that match 11-0.
